They Hated Me Without Reason

This is an open letter for a fellow Christian who is under persecution. A story like his is a story that I thought I will never witness in my life time. His story, despite of the situation that he is in, is a story of hope and grace. A story of how God is in control in every situation of our life. A story worth telling to the future generations of this country.

We may think that, why would a righteous person get that kind of treatment? In a way that he didn’t deserve. But does God ever promise to us that we will always be treated with justice in this world? Didn’t Jesus said ““If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the one who sent me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. Whoever hates me hates my Father as well. If I had not done among them the works no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. As it is, they have seen, and yet they have hated both me and my Father. But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: ‘They hated me without reason.’”?

We are no stranger to this kind of story, if we truly knows our role in this world. Whether it is fair or not, judgement will only come from our King. We simply endure this hardship on this world and relinquish control to Him. The verse that I put (John 15:18-25) is enough said to whatever is happening at this moment.

I pray for this man, for his family and for his future, that God is not done, He is yet to reveal His grand plan for this country and for him. You and I are the same Sir, simply His pawn, we obediently walking in His path. May His will be done over us, I pray that our faith will stand strong until the end. Amen.

Today I witness that God is just and He is good, now and forever.
